Why we started Paws & Peace

Hi, I'm Raymond — founder of Paws & Peace.

Paws & Peace started from a simple idea: helping pets feel calmer and more comfortable during ordinary stressful moments.

My background is in dental hygiene and healthcare, where I spent years watching how stress shapes behavior, comfort, and daily routine — and how much a calm environment changes the experience. That perspective carried over to how I think about pets. When I saw how storms, car rides, grooming, and time alone affected them, I started looking for gentle, practical options that could support calmer routines at home.

What I found was that plenty of pet owners wanted the same thing: comfort-focused products they could use alongside patience, consistency, and veterinary guidance when needed. Not miracle cures. Just things that help.

That is why Paws & Peace exists.

What we sell, and what we don't

We focus on non-medicated comfort products, enrichment tools, grooming essentials, calming routine items, and everyday wellness support for dogs and cats — lick mats, cozy beds, comfort wraps, grooming tools, and wellness essentials.

We do not sell medications or sedatives, and we are not a replacement for veterinary care. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or behavioral condition. Our goal is narrower and more honest than that: helping you build calmer, more supportive routines at home.

Every product we carry is chosen with three things in mind:

How we choose products

We work with trusted suppliers and fulfillment partners, and review each product for its materials, intended use, and fit with what we are trying to do. We would rather carry a short list of things we believe in than a catalog of everything.

This also shapes how we ship. Instead of running our own warehouse and pricing that in, our partners ship directly to you. It means delivery takes 7–14 business days rather than a couple of days — but it is why we can offer free shipping on every order with no minimum. We say so plainly on our shipping page rather than hiding it in the fine print.
